In 2020 I started my blog, nerdleader, dedicated to the fine art of leading nerds as a nerd oneself. I am focusing on soft skills instead of hard skills, because highly education, well paid nerds can be challenging to motivate and lead.

In 2019 I joined the advisory board for Opstoberfest, the premier enterprise operations convention in America. Additionally I will be a speaker during the October 2019 event, presenting my talk on embedding knowledge within engineer teams in concert with Spotify's engineering model.

In August 2019 I joined the Avantage Entertainment organization as CTO. My mission with Avantage is to scale the organization so we can cost effectively create compelling sports entertainment technology for both B2B and B2C value streams.

I lead the team that developed Check Business Services, an all-in-one stop for restauranteurs looking for additional business services at a discount.

hum by Verizon

I lead the team that developed the local offers and roadside assistance platform for Verizon Wireless's telematics group.

Alumni Benefits

I lead the team that developed the local offers, insurance discounts, etc., for the alumni benefits network. Universities such as Rutgers offer these services to alumni for free.

Straight Talk Rewards

Straight Talk Rewards is the membership benefits program offered by Straight Talk Wiress, an imprint of Tracfone for Walmart stores.

US Foods Points of Focus

My team created and operated the Points of Focus rewards program for US Foods account executives. This program was an incentive program for territory managers and above.

Verizon Employee Incentives

My team created and operated the sales incentive program for all Verizon stores. We started with Verizon Wireless and grew the business to all Verizon stores.

Vertrue

In 2011 I joined the Vertrue team as the Director of their Data Management department. Vertrue was one of the largest digital continuity marketers in the world.

Carecentrix

In 2010 I lead the team that expanded the homegrown Carecentrix application to deliver additional, more efficient, and faster responding value to the core field staff.

UBS Real Estate

In 2010 I architected and engineered a tool to perform analysis and forecasting for the Connecticut-based commercial real estate fund management team. With my work the team was able to offer the funds to large pension and 401(k) providers.
